Job Description
Position Overview: Waiter / Waitress assist restaurant patrons by noting their order, serving tables their requested meals, and preparing bills at the end of the table’s meals. This position is responsible for ensuring diner have a positive experience at food establishments by exhibiting excellent customer service. Their duties also include greeting diners and taking their orders, communicating with members of the kitchen about orders and carrying meals or beverages to the correct tables.
Requirements:
• Full high school education and completion of his or her chosen academics
• One year of experience in a waitress / runner / or similar
• Knowledge of restaurant and bar procedures, set up and service
• Very good command over written and spoken English
• An offering of local language and their customs is highly encouraged
• Excellent communicator with the ability to multitask
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Flexible working hours
